Aloha,
You are all invited to our 41st annual luau, called the best in the State by many, happening on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Come, join us under the big white tent for lots of good food, awesome fellowship and outstanding entertainment! If you're unable to stay, take-out is also available.
The hogs have been fattened, the keawe wood (mesquite) has been cut for our imu and the list goes on and on as we have started to prepare for this exciting event! We are so very proud of our luau as everything is made fresh from "scratch" the authentic and traditional way!
Our menu consists of:
kalua pig, chicken long rice, squid luau, lomi lomi salmon, poke, opihi,
raw crab (upon availability), sweet potato, haupia, kulolo, pineapple, rice,
poi and a cold drink! Wow!
Our entertainers are Kumu Chinky Mahoe and halau Kawaili`ula, Kumu Greg Lontayao and halau Kawaihoa, Ekolu (Gora Ohana) and the Heavy Weights!
You are also invited to come and learn some Hawaiian Cuisine. The work schedule starts on Wednesday August 1st and continues through to Saturday. The highlight of our preparations is "the imu", on Thursday August 2nd. The hogs will be prepped and placed in the underground pit around 5pm and the cooked pork will be removed on Friday, the 3rd! Bring your family and your cameras. Come early as the hogs are put down when the fire/heat is at the right temperature!
